Dangerous clinical negligence and refusal to review medical history My family has trusted El Rio Health for years, but our experience at the W Congress location was genuinely unsafe and unacceptable. A nurse practitioner at another El Rio clinic urgently referred my family member to be seen the same day due to ongoing heart complications, chest pain radiating into the abdomen, and a history of faintingβ€”specifically stating, "Your daughter needs to be seen today." Upon arrival, the provider at W Congress: >* Refused to review medical records. Stated directly, "I don't look at records," completely ignoring the urgent referral notes and relevant history from her own El Rio colleague. * Dismissed critical symptoms: Written off ongoing chest and abdominal pain as simple constipation without a proper, patient-centered evaluation. * Showed complete indifference: Was impatient, rushed, and eager to leave rather than address a potential medical emergency. Not sure about all these negative reviews.. I didn’t have health insurance for awhile, but I was always able to get affordable care here. The staff is incredibly kind and competent, the doctors knowledgeable. I’m honestly so grateful el rio exists, because if I was ever in pain and needed to be seen urgently I always was. What a lifesaver

My question is why they have this about NO ONE WILL BE DENIED SOLELY SERVICES DUE THE LACK OF INCOME A SLIDING FEE SCALE IS AVAILABLE and yet specially at this location on congress avenue the personal the service they give is for them not to be working in this kind of business or at least in this one happens twice already personally at the pharmacy once and at the eligibility department on may 11 the ladie at the window was like feeling superior like or you give me what I’m asking for or no service why are they like this that’s my whole question do they have everything or why are you working here if you not a compassionate person you’re not a happy are they forcing you to do what you do?

My experience here is perfectly awesome. First time appointment takes time but if you have it it’s actually very nice being taken cared of by them. My Dr Sayyar Khakimov is the best. He cares for you and checks on you. My dr’s office has awesome staff, the nurses and assistants they are awesome and nice.
